From the A22 Brennero motorway, take the Chiusa/Klausen exit and follow signs to Val Gardena. Ortisei is about 20 minutes from the highway.

Take a train to Chiusa/Klausen or Bolzano station, then catch bus 350 directly to Ortisei. Buses run frequently throughout the day.

Ortisei (St. Ulrich in German, Urtijëi in Ladin) is the main village of Val Gardena, a valley in the Dolomites known for its stunning mountain scenery, traditional Ladin culture, and world-class skiing.
